Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: WiP Ink

   The hard lined ink of Slice One: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made. The only lines that are still in pencil are some of the swirls of the facial design, which will separate into patterns when the color is applied to delineate between skin tones. On this particular piece, the background will be done with an ink wash (monochromatic black and white), while the figure will be treated with color. I'll be starting with gouache and water-color, and then move into dyes and Prisma colored pencils to render the texture and highlights. I'll be experimenting with greens, purples and blues on this one, with some accent of reds and oranges.

The other images are currently in various stages of inking, as I like to hop around from piece to piece (in an attempt to integrate style, I suppose). More inky goodness coming up soon!
