Medium: Ink, Water-dyes Time: 32 hours Copyright Notice: 2008 by Bob Giadrosich/Sharayah Press. All Rights Reserved. Another portfolio piece. I seem to be primarily influenced by musical selections lately when I'm doing these. This one is from Julie Miller: "You can make this world shine in the darkest of times if you use, your weapon of the spirit. You can make the blind see things they'd never believe if you use, your weapon of the spirit." What does it mean? Well, where were you when the lights went out... To hear a sample of Julie's music, and the opening to "Weapon of the Spirit (Track 7)," the album is called Invisible Girl. 100% traditional ink and water dyes, except the white dots on the braid diamonds. I forgot to put them in before I scanned the art, hence, I added them in Photoshop. I'm off to draw Pirates. Edit: I finally relocated the stock from which this was taken. It took awhile. Thanks to Sadie for the wonderful inspiration! Lacrymosa by |

True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked.

If a ragnarok would burn all the slums and gas-works, and shabby garages, and long arc-lit suburbs, it could for me burn all the works of art - and I'd go back to trees.
