I love old tales, and enjoy listening to a seasoned orator deliver stories and ballads in front of a crackling hearth; the cadence of word and off-set rhyme bridging the gap with those who have made history before us.

And all this time I thought that 'I' was a fanatic when it came to meticulous linework. giadrosich is in a league ALL his own. His gallery blew my mind! Einion's comment to me when suggesting giadrosich was that his work reminded her 'of some of Bernie Wrightson's work maybe with a hint of Barry Windsor-Smith thrown in.' I absolutley agree. The first thing that came to mind when viewing his art was Wrightson's 'Frankenstein' work. The second thing that came to mind was 'stunning'! I 'm steadily working on the color version (that, and around 5 other things, lol!!). What's not apparent in this scan, since I didn't include the boarder of Storyteller, is that the urn at the bottom right hand side cuts out of the frame, becoming more of a graphic element in the composition. It's an old trick to break up the lines of the frame a little and brings the viewer into the picture.
