Componate One: A few weeks ago, I started the Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix. The first book is titled "Sabriel," and I quickly moved on to the second (Lirael) and third (Abhorsen) in the series. Since then, they have become some of my favorite books in what can best be described as dark fantasy; thrilling, imaginative, and original in scope and concept. Componate Two: Usually whenever I sit down to work on a composition, I'll do a series of "warm-up" exercises to loosen up the hand and wrist. Resulting In: As I was engaged in "loosening up," I soon found myself drawing Sabriel, whose weapons include seven bells of various sizes (and personalities) and a sword. Keep in mind that this is only a concept sketch, and will be refined and modified further before the finished drawing that the ink will rest upon. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
