This is a color study (not the finished image). So, the scanner pretty much dropped out the nuances of color...

From a poem I remember as a wee lad:

"Who will draw a ring around the moon?
Who will draw a line from star to star?
Who will sing a pennys worth of song,
to tell them how in love we are?"

The next four verses are just repeating, with the lover saying that "I" will, in fact, do the above actions to let the masses know that "we" are in love.

Which some would say "makes the world go round."

I love this, it almost have a stained glass feel to it, but maybe that's due to the dropping of color by your scanner you mentioned ;) anyway, I think you did a great job on the composition.

Look, it's the sky before the cities stole the stars!
Truly beautiful, the colors aren't my favorites - too rich, too deep, to fwoooooosh! But the hair is my favorite bit, the hair and the sky EXPLODING with stars - I love the night sky that hasn't not been exploited.

"Rabbit's clever," said Pooh thoughtfully.
"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit's clever."
"And he has a Brain."
"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit has a Brain." There was a long silence.
"I suppose," said Pooh, "that that's why he never understands anything."
Wow!! Such a beautiful carnival of colors! I just love the combination, the style, the markmaking. All of it is so well harmonized too!

Got original characters?
If you're not watching scraps, you're missing most of the action!
First words I said to myself was 'Holy crap!'

Definitely eye catching.

"Ride hard... Live free!"
Gorgeous. You represented the poem beautifully. And the poem is lovely, too! Faved.

I love the warmth of the colors, even though it's night and that's usually associated with coolness in my mind... it really evokes a nice feeling.

Thoroughly enchanting and full to the brim with all the hope available in dreams; a singularly beautiful and heartbreaking, yearning image...
