Medium: Brush, Quill & Ink Copyright Notice: 2007 by Bob Giadrosich/Sharayah Press. All Rights Reserved. A two-page spread illustration for a poem entitled "Red Snow." End of the world type story: Good vs. Evil, alliance of Men, Elves and Dwarves, climatic battle in the frozen wastelands of a nether region between the realms of the living and the undead. Lots of fun to draw. I worked on this, along with a bunch of other images, off and on for a month or so. The clouds were done with a stronger graphic style because two main bodies of text will cover most of the sky (one on each page). The text will be black, trapped inside white boxes. The end result will be that most of the clouds will not be seen, presenting less of a contrast between the highly rendered figures and the stylized treatment of the clouds. Features the character that was created with Shield Maiden as the central heroine. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
