    There is an irreversible point when you are chosen. It has nothing to do with choice, for the choosing is often random and suited to another's whim. At that moment, the world that you knew melts away, replaced by somewhere more ancient, more wild, and much more fluid than any other reality you have ever witnessed before; where size and shape are simply matters of convenience, and the rules of living are often made up as you go along.
